DESCRIPTION

A beautifully decorative vintage Chinese porcelain lidded box featuring hand-painted-style enameled florals against an unusual charcoal-gray ground.

Soft pink, blush, pale yellow and blue flowers wind across the lid and sides with celadon-green leaves and touches of deep teal. A repeating floral border wraps around the lid, giving the rectangular box beautiful detail from every angle.

The combination of its moody gray background and delicate botanical decoration makes this piece especially striking. It has all the charm of traditional Chinese porcelain but with a color palette that feels unexpected and incredibly easy to mix into a collected interior.

The removable porcelain lid reveals a generous interior that’s perfect for storing jewelry, keepsakes, correspondence, remotes or other small treasures. It is equally beautiful left empty and styled as a decorative object on a coffee table, bookshelf, console, bedside table or vanity.
